Bibarel’s Path of Solitude

Quick Tips

Make sure the Pokemon is at least level 60.

Increase Bibarel’ EVs for Speed and Attack.

Learn and master the move Bulldoze from the Training Grounds.

Bibarel’s Opponent

Bibarel’s Path of Solitude challenge is against a level 60 Luxray.

Luxray is a pure Electric-type Pokémon. This makes it weak against Ground-type attacks only. Fortunately for Bibarel, it can learn the super-effective move Bulldoze to use against Luxray.

Recommendations & Advantages

To successfully complete this challenge, it is recommended to learn the move Bulldoze from Zisu and to master it. Mastering the move will also be beneficial so Bibarel can attack with the different styles. Other recommendations include:

  • Level up Bibarel to Level 60 or above to out-level the opposing Pokémon.
    • This is recommended if Bibarel struggles against its opponent despite other suggestions.
  • Increase of Effort Values (EVs) for Speed and Attack.
    • Leveling speed ensures Bibarel can attack quckly during the battle.
    • Increasing Attack can allow Bibarel to attack for more damage with Bulldoze.
    • Effort Values can be upgraded using the Grit items. You can get these items by defeating wild Pokémon, releasing captured Pokémon, and other activities.
    • Effort Values significantly increase stats when reaching an EV level of 1, 4, 7, and 10.
  • Master the moves learned from Zisu.
    • A mastered move can be used in both Agile-style and Strong-style.
    • Mastered moves will allow for repeat attacks without the opponent being able to get damage in.
